Her mind whirls around
Questioning every move like its life or death
Unable to stop the worrying
Nagging her tiring mind
Her insecurities at every corner
There is no where she feels safe
Every doubt that creeps in
Makes her lose another touch of reality
She has no need to worry
Anxiety overpowering her consciousness
Her happiness slowly slipping
With every what if scenario introduced
It is like a nightmare
A bad scene from a Hollywood movie
She can’t look away
She can’t turn off the screen
Trying to fight back the fear
Telling herself everything is irrational
She feels the straight jacket creep back on
Losing her fight once again
Thinking she was strong enough
To survive without constant reassurance
The memories of the past
Winning over her once again
